Hub dyno tuning · Frankfort, Indiana
Anybody can guess a number. We put it on the hub.
1,687.3 hp @ 7,376 rpm · 1,361.8 lb-ft @ 5,782 rpm · measured on our hub
What the Mainline ProHub is rated to handle.
ASE Master Certified, twenty-five years in.
Hub-mounted, so the tire never touches the measurement.
Why two shops quote different numbers for the same car
Most of the gap is not the engine. It is how the power got measured.
Roller dynoTires on drums
- The tire flexes, heats and slips against the drum
- Drag radials and high-torque cars read low and inconsistent
- Strap pressure changes the number run to run
- Repeatability suffers, so decisions get made on noise
Our hub dynoBolted to the axles
- Wheels come off — the driveline connects straight to the hub
- Nothing to slip, so back-to-back pulls are comparable
- Handles high torque without wrestling a car onto drums
- Clean data means the tune moves on real change, not variance
What actually happens when you bring it in
Nobody publishes this, and it is the thing every first-time customer wants to know before they call.
01 — BEFORE THE STRAPS
Health check first
Compression, leaks, fuel delivery and a scan. A dyno finds problems loudly and expensively. We would rather find them on the lift.

02 — WHEELS OFF
Bolted to the hub
The car mounts to the adapters and gets strapped down. Budget about an hour before the first pull.

03 — THE PULLS
Baseline, then change one thing
Before anything moves we log where the car actually is. Every pull after that gets measured against it, so you can see what each change bought.
04 — WHO HOLDS THE LAPTOP
We tune it, or your tuner does
Braden tunes in-house, or runs the session live while a remote tuner works the file from anywhere. Both are normal here — our biggest number to date was a remote tune.

What it costs
Published, because nobody else does. You should know what a day costs before you call.
Dyno day — tuning session
$625first 3 hrs
Then $150 an hour. Baseline pulls, calibration changes, and every run logged. Book the full day and lunch is on the shop.
Power runs only
$2503 pulls
One hour on the hub. You want to know what it makes — no tuning, no changes, just the number and the sheet.
Rates are for the dyno itself. Lunch is on us when you book the day. Remote tuners are welcome to run the session — call and we will hold the block.
