Off-the-shelf works until it does not. A cammed car with a turbo and a relocated battery is not on anybody’s catalogue page, so it gets cut, fitted and TIG welded here on an Everlast.

01 — CUT AND FIT
Mocked up on the car
Nothing gets welded until it fits. Tacked in place, checked for clearance to the floor, the driveshaft and anything that moves.
02 — WELDED
TIG, on an Everlast
Stainless welded properly rather than glued together with a MIG and hope. Back-purged where it matters so the inside of the pipe is as clean as the outside.
